What I Read Last Week
This book about a Syrian mother and daughter who move to the United States is lyrical and moving. There are so many impactful passages in this book that had me going back and rereading them.
This companion to Holt's National Book Award Winner takes place post-9/11. A new boy from New York City moves to Antler and inspires a hunt for a grown up Zachary Beaver.
What I'm Reading This Week
Friendship. New acquaintances. A character named Banjo. I'm a few chapters in and I'm liking it so far.
